SEA CLIFFS series

The sea fascinates us, especially when it crashes at the foot of tall cliffs. Thomas Hardy describes our emotions in his poem:

"Lend me an ear
While I read you here
A page from your history,
Old cliff—not known
To your solid stone,
Yet yours inseparably."

"The air is full of after-thunder freshness,
And everything rejoices and revives.
With the whole outburst of its purple clusters
The lilac drinks the air of paradise."
